Print is not dead! For X-Press, we transformed an outdated website into a powerful digital platform: repositioned, visually refined, and built to be technically future-proof—with a look that shows that modern print production is about more than just machines and stacks of paper.

Problem

X-Press is a state-of-the-art printing company, handling everything from large offset print runs to complex custom orders. Precise. Reliable. Powerful. But that's exactly what the previous website failed to convey.

With outdated design and technology, no clear user guidance, and no scalable structure for growing content, the company's innovative strength remained invisible. Different target groups were not addressed specifically, and services were not communicated clearly enough. Above all, however, there was no visual system that bundled the diversity of the offering and positioned X-Press as an independent brand in the competitive landscape.

The challenge: How do you translate decades of printing expertise into a contemporary digital identity without losing sight of your core craftsmanship?

Solution

In the relaunch, we developed a platform that creates clarity—in structure, design, and brand impact. The goal was to create a presence that provides orientation, makes services understandable, and reveals the personality of X-Press.

The visual foundation is based on a bold color concept using the four CMYK primary colors. Cyan, magenta, yellow, and black visibly anchor the brand in the printing industry, used strikingly as a guidance system and to structure complex content. This is complemented by a concise design language and a modular icon system that visually translates print types, services, and offerings. The imagery is direct, self-assured, deliberately unconventional, and conveys the lively character of the company.

The result: a flexible, scalable design system with modular content blocks that grows with the company, addresses new target groups, and positions X-Press as a modern, appealing, and powerful partner in the printing industry.
